These days, double eyelid surgery is something everyone tends to think of as easy, and there are so many hospitals that do it well, so it’s easy to get information. But what I felt was lacking before surgery and even now is that no matter how many reviews I searched, it was hard to find someone with more upper eyelid fat than me. In the end, though, I had surgery with an incisional method, and there was no fat removal. The line was set high, and even after the swelling went down after surgery, because I originally had a lot of upper eyelid fat above the double eyelid line, it looked swollen. But the reason I set the line high was because I learned from watching my older sister that the line gradually comes down over time. Now the double eyelid line shows fairly well, and over 6 years I lost facial fat, but the fat around my eyes didn’t go down much.. Still, the defined eye look I wanted is still there, and I don’t think I’ll have to worry about the line coming down for another 5 years or so. In conclusion, if you have a lot of upper eyelid fat, think carefully about the line height, and since upper eyelid fat won’t disappear even after surgery, imagine how it will look with fat above the double eyelid and make sure you won’t regret it.
