Orthodontic treatment review

I was born with a small mouth and a small oral cavity, so my teeth had a hard time coming in and ended up quite crooked. My upper teeth were only slightly bunny-like, but the lower teeth were so crooked that the tooth next to the canine was bent at almost a 70-degree angle. I looked around and heard that orthodontics is best done at a specialized dental clinic, so I got treatment at a specialized clinic near my house. The first consultation was detailed, and they tried to accommodate my requests as much as possible. They recommended extraction so they could move the teeth back a bit more, but my parents were uncomfortable with pulling healthy teeth, so when I explained that They told us that there was no problem with the orthodontic treatment itself, but that the amount the mouth could be set back might be a little less. The lower crooked teeth mattered more than appearance, so I agreed and started. At the beginning, they said it might take less than 2 years, but it ended up taking the full 2 years. Even at the monthly checkups, they were kind, and during treatment my wisdom tooth came in and the inflammation got severe, but they extracted the wisdom tooth for me too. Even now that orthodontic treatment is finished, the roots were barely reduced and the teeth are neatly aligned, so I’m satisfied. They say you need to watch orthodontic results for 10 years, but it’s been 3 full years for me and I haven’t noticed any side effects. Everything was satisfying, but one downside is that it’s a one-doctor clinic and very popular, so the wait time is a bit long? Other than that, I have no complaints at all.
