I’ll leave a review of my hospital consultations. I almost died going to three places in one day, seriously...
1. Nㅌ Plastic Surgery (contouring & eyes & nose)
First up was my 9 a.m. consultation. I arrived, checked in, and waited. The staff had only just started work, so the atmosphere was a little chaotic. Since it was my first consultation, I thought I’d be called in right away, but I waited about 20 minutes? Then I went down to the consultation floor and got a CT scan. After waiting through one thing and another, the consultation finally started around 9:30 to 9:40. I spread out the PPT I had prepared and explained in detail what kind of face shape I wanted and which celebrity I was aiming for.
The director apparently said I was the most impressive among the people he had prepared for, lol. Then he looked over my face from different angles, checked the fat and bone, and went on at length about the surgical plan. While explaining, he even added why he thought it had to be done that way, which I really liked because it made sense. After that, he finished explaining the surgical method, and I had a lot of questions too, like 11? 12? As he went through them, he explained every single one in a way that was easy to accept.
After the contouring consult ended, I stayed in the consultation room for about 10 minutes, then another director came in to handle the eye and nose consultation. He also went through the PPT and explained everything. He said the nose would probably be better done this way, and the eyes would be better with this method, so that part also made sense to me. He then went through the questions at the back and explained them as well. After everything was done, he asked if I had any more questions, so I asked a few more.
I had seen other consultation reviews saying the staff were rude or that the consultation time was short, so I was a little nervous. But when I actually went, well... I spent a total of one hour with the directors, 30 minutes each. People saying they were in and out in 5 minutes or that things weren’t explained properly... I think they simply didn’t prepare properly. Then they post a bad review saying they felt wronged because the consultation wasn’t done properly... is that really fair...? I’d recommend that everyone here only believe about 60% of what they read in the community. Especially be cautious of reviews that are overly negative or overly positive. It seems better to focus on reviews that clearly list both pros and cons.
After that, I talked with the manager about pricing, scheduling, aftercare, and other overall details. That wrapped up the consultation at that hospital. +) One extra thing I liked about this place was that after I got home, the next day or the day after, I received a text message. When I checked, it was a consultation satisfaction survey? Something like that. Of course, since it’s a plastic surgery clinic, all the staff are kind, naturally. But I thought it was nice that they were doing surveys like that, managing customers and trying to improve their service.

This place is already famous to the point that it’s basically a name in contouring, so I visited. As soon as I got there, I filled out the initial consultation paperwork and got a CT scan. Then I waited, had a consultation with the manager first, and she was pretty energetic lol. After that, I went in for the director consultation and explained again what I wanted and so on. The director glanced at it and drew lines on my CT scan with a mouse, explaining, “We’ll do the surgery like this and like this.”
Then he used his hands to create lines on my face and explained how it would turn out. I listened and thought, ah, I see. The surgical method here was a bit different from the first clinic. After the surgical explanation ended, I asked questions as well, and they explained that part well too. So most of my questions were cleared up, and I again got an explanation from the manager about the overall price, aftercare, and so on. That wrapped things up here too.

The grand finale... honestly, when I got there, I was already so exhausted that I wanted to give up on the consultation and just go home. But what could I do... I had to go... I filled out the initial paperwork and waited, and then they took a CT scan, took photos in the white room, and so on. Then they said I had to go for more photos, so I did, but then they said I needed to go into consultation, so I started with the director consultation. I went in, showed them the PPT I had made, and the consultation began. But they immediately said it wouldn’t be possible the way I wanted, lol. Then they started explaining my bone structure and so on, and how the surgery method would be.
They explained everything in detail. I was like, ah, I see, and left after listening. The consultation itself was very good. If the previous hospitals felt more like consultations between doctor and patient, this one felt like visiting my grandmother’s house on a holiday and meeting a cheerful uncle...? The consultation itself was very comfortable and enjoyable. Then I got the photos I hadn’t taken earlier taken again and went into the nose consultation. The nose director was also very kind during the consultation, explaining, “We’ll do this, we’ll do that, this probably isn’t necessary,” and laying it all out clearly.
After I came out and waited again, I talked a bit with the manager, and then the doctor in charge of the eyes came over, looked at my eyes, and said this would probably need to be done like this and that would probably need to be done like that. After he left, I had another consultation with the manager about pricing, aftercare, and so on, and then I left and went home...
What I felt here is that maybe because I had so many areas to consult about, it was a bit... chaotic. I had to keep moving back and forth, and since this was my last consultation, I was extremely tired. Of course, they can’t tailor every little personal detail to me... but if the order had been different, maybe the feeling would have been different too. And the directors here said my face was a very difficult face to operate on... The consultation was enjoyable, yes... but seeing them look troubled while talking made me so angry at my own face. I can understand being ugly, but if even surgery is difficult on my face, what kind of face is this?
I was even more irritable because I was tired, so I got angry and felt depressed. For a moment, I wanted to smash my face... But then again, if I think about it, the other hospitals before this never said that at all. It was only said here, so... I think I should confirm it at another hospital once more.
Overall Review
1. It goes without saying, but the overall kindness of the staff and directors was very good.
2. When you do consultations, there are parts that every director mentions in common and parts they explain differently. The common parts are fine to follow as they are, and the different parts are personal opinions, so it seems best to decide based on your own preferences and style.
3. At the very least, if you’re going for a consultation, you should properly organize what you want and what you’re curious about, and study the basic information about the surgery you can receive. Don’t just go in with one or two photos and ask whether it’s possible or not. You’re the one getting the surgery, so if you go without even minimal preparation, how can the doctor fully match what you want? Even when getting a custom suit, you have to decide everything from the fabric to the stitching to the number of buttons, so let’s at least put in that much effort... Plastic surgery isn’t something you just pick off a shelf and it pops out in an instant.
4. But it’s also not good to decide, “I’m definitely getting surgery this way,” just because you got fixated on one thing. Since we’re not doctors, I gathered general information from the community and fact-checked with doctors. Especially with side effects or bad information floating around as hearsay, in the community you should just take note that such issues exist and then fact-check with a doctor. This place is full of unverified information by definition, and the experts on this are the doctors. I understand being anxious because of bad news in the media, but doctors don’t perform side effects because they want to. Of course, it should be confirmed whether there is ghost surgery, safety measures, and procedures for emergencies. And if something goes wrong, after-sales care and compensation should also obviously be confirmed. But if those are confirmed and it’s a hospital you can trust, I hope you won’t just vaguely doubt and worry. If you can’t trust it, then the right answer is not to get surgery there.
5. I think it’s better not to overdo the hospital visits. It depends on the person, but what I felt while going around was that opinions differ from doctor to doctor, so if you go to too many places you actually get more confused. This isn’t a bazaar where you ask, “How much is it? Is the product good? I’ll go look at something else.” Pick a few hospitals with decent reputations and go. I’d recommend at most about four places... Any more than that, and there’s too much information and it gets confusing. Usually, there’s a place within that group that feels decent anyway, and if you still can’t feel sure there, then go somewhere else entirely. Just don’t go around too much.
So that’s about it for the review. If you’re wondering whether I booked, yes, I booked at one of those three places. The surgery is sometime in October. I have to finish before the college entrance exam... It’ll be hectic again then, with all the high school students swarming around. Anyway, I hope this helps those who are considering surgery choose a hospital. Bye.
+ People keep asking me about the hospital, but I also had surgery at one of those three places, and since everyone’s face is different, there’s no point in telling you. Besides, all three are hospitals everyone has heard of at least once if they know contouring. They’re not some suddenly emerged new clinics; they’re all hospitals that are mentioned here and there. I chose that way because it was for my own surgery, but now it’s not me who’s getting surgery, it’s everyone here, right? I don’t want to tell you which hospital it was. Don’t be swept along by other people’s choices; decide for yourself. You have to take responsibility for the choice, the result, and the consequences yourself. I don’t want to get involved in that.
