1-month review of epicanthoplasty restoration :)

Before<before, when smiling>Before<before>After<after>After<after>Hello~ It’s already almost been a month since I had epicanthoplasty restoration. Before doing it, I worried a lot about whether I should or shouldn’t, but in the end I saved up money diligently, went around for consultations, and proceeded with it.

First of all, as you can tell if you look at my before photos, because of the epicanthoplasty I had when I was young and didn’t know any better, I had excessive exposure of the lacrimal lake, and had been living with eyes that looked sharp and unnatural.

Honestly, I think I had been living half-resigned to it. Then I saw reviews from people who had epicanthoplasty restoration, and I think I debated and debated for almost a year.

For me, the top priority was making my impression gentler and more natural, so after the procedure I was very worried because the swelling was worse than I expected, but the recovery period seemed faster than double eyelid surgery, so it wasn’t difficult to go about daily life!

The lacrimal lake is definitely less visible than before, and I feel like my eyes look more natural, so I’m happy. I think I’ll need to keep watching it a little more going forward.

And I guess I’ll also need to look into the double eyelid line..ㅠ.. (I’m thinking about double-line correction or excision, but I thought epicanthoplasty restoration should come first, so I did that first!)

For now, even with only epicanthoplasty restoration, I’m so happy that my eye shape has changed and the parts I wanted have improved.

So now, to keep it from opening up, I always apply DuoDERM before going to sleep, wash my hair backward, try to open my eyes gently, and try not to touch my eyes.

I’m early in my career, and while I was job hunting, I also started going to work this time. Since I keep wearing DuoDERM around, everyone stared at first, but now I guess they’ve gotten used to it, so they don’t say anything..

This is a bit awkward, but still, I’m going to protect my eyes..;; hehe

I’ll keep taking good care of them! :)

Thank you for reading.
