So I’m going to write an honest review in case there are people hesitating over breast surgery because they’re scared like I was.
When I seriously started looking into breast surgery, I first learned about it through YouTube. I happened to watch a vlog by someone who had breast surgery After seeing that, I felt like I could become glamorous like that person too, and thought maybe I just had to endure the pain for one week? two weeks? So I installed cosmetic surgery apps, joined cafes, and did all sorts of things.. (Though I ended up joining this community last)
From when I started looking into implants, my top pick was Motiva. If I went for a consultation and another implant felt better when I actually touched it, I was open to changing, but Motiva was my first choice for now. When I went for consultations, no matter how much I touched them and tried fittings, Motiva had the best feel So at every consultation, I was assessed with Motiva! I also felt that since it’s a surgery I would do once anyway, I should get it done properly with good implants.
They say most women have breast asymmetry, but surprisingly, at 4 out of the 5 places I went, they said I did not have asymmetric breasts? The remaining place also said the asymmetry was extremely slight, so there was no need to use different sizes on each side.
So for the surgery, I had 335 cc Motiva inserted! For the incision site, since I wear sleeveless tops a lot in summer and also like crop tops, I preferred the transaxillary incision rather than the inframammary fold incision, and fortunately most clinics let me choose the incision site.
Should I talk about after surgery too.. On the day of surgery, I was so scared that even after arriving at the clinic, I whined a lot to the consultant, asking what I should do and saying I was scared (thinking about it, I did that to the director too..) They comforted me a lot.. They must have many people like this, but they still kindly kept telling me not to worry, so I was able to relax a little at least..
But I really respect everyone who started daily life right after surgery.... For me, breasts that I suddenly did not have before appeared.. My upper body felt heavy, and when I moved, it felt somehow dull and heavy, so I mostly just lay around at home..
That does not mean it hurt, so I ate my meals well and consistently took the prescribed medicine, but I did not feel confident enough to go out for walks, so I think I just stayed home.... Maybe because of that, in the 1-month photo there is quite a bit of upper fullness... Around then I pulled myself together and tried to go for walks often! Once I actually started moving, I got used to having breasts too, and I could go about daily life without difficulty. If I had known it would be like this, I thought I should have just kept moving from week 2...
My current breast size is about a full C! Since I wanted a C to D cup from the time of surgery, I’m satisfied with the current size, but there is still a little residual swelling left, so I’m going to keep watching until at least 6 months!
Lastly, to everyone who cannot get breast surgery because you’re scared like I was~ If your desire to do it is even a little bigger than your fear, I recommend starting with consultations! Because after going to consultations, there is so much information about breast surgery that the director and consultant tell you.. I learned a lot of new things because of that, and there were days when I thought about things I had never considered before.
But make sure to look into surgery carefully~ It is much better to visit several consultations like I did, think calmly, and then book, rather than being pressured into same-day booking and immediately paying a deposit!
