I previously had a hi-ko + pearl nose procedure, so I'm now in a revision-surgery situation, and I have a bulbous nose + (allergic rhinitis, a very slight dorsal hump...?)!
1. Review of Dr. Bae Yoon-gyeong at Clinic ㅊㅇ - photos and CT taken - Consultation fee was free through a Naver event (normally 10,000 KRW) + 20,000 KRW for the CT, autologous rib cartilage (under sedation), no donated rib cartilage , (need a pre-op X-ray, from an outside internal medicine clinic)
First of all, it was crowded. I had to wait 30 minutes just for the basic consultation, and because there were so many people, waiting was uncomfortable (manager-doctor-manager order). The explanation during the consultation wasn't very detailed, and I didn't get a friendly impression. If the Naver consultation fee hadn't been free, I would have regretted it...;; It was the place I most wanted to visit after seeing reviews from an acquaintance who had surgery there, but it left a bad impression.. I had to wait another 30 minutes just to see the doctor..; In the end, the total consultation time was about 40-50 minutes with two people consulting, but it felt like the waiting time was even longer, lol. I thought the doctor would be friendly, but when I asked questions, he asked if this was my first consultation there. He didn't even ask much himself...; When I showed the desired photos and asked questions, it felt a bit condescending, almost mocking. lol I didn't feel friendly at all. During the consultation, he showed before-and-after photos, and I was surprised because they were so natural, so I showed the design I wanted, and he emphasized safety and naturalness, saying that there are limits to what he can do and that wanting too much is not good.. He said that if I didn't want revision surgery, safety (natural-looking results) was best. He also said the nasolabial angle? the columella? was important, and he focused on that in terms of shape too? The manager explained the total cost again, but even when I mentioned discounts, they said this was the maximum they could do. They didn't explain things in detail, just tapped on a calculator and the explanation wasn't properly carried out.. Neither the doctor nor the manager felt friendly at all
2. Review of Dr. Lee Seong-hyeon at Clinic ㅁㅎ - I put down a deposit, so I'm not sure whether there was a consultation fee or not, CT taken, (both autologous and donated cartilage can be used), general anesthesia
After visiting the first place, I was wondering if all consultations were like this.. Waited less than 10 minutes (manager - doctor - manager) CT taken. I should say the manager was kind? It felt different from the first place. The explanation was good, and when I asked all sorts of questions, they answered them. There was a slight sales feel, though, as if they were trying to match the price as much as possible. After some consultation, the doctor came in. Maybe because I had already visited the first clinic, the doctor felt very kind and lively. They were honest about things too, and compared with the first place it definitely felt more glamorous and noticeable. Both places took CT scans, but at the first place they didn't mention rhinitis and said it was fine. Here they said I did have rhinitis (I actually do), and explained where the rhinitis comes from and which part is crooked, even without me asking. They also said I had a slight dorsal hump, which the first place hadn't mentioned. I felt like the CT cost I paid at the first place was wasted. Hearing these explanations here made me think, what would have happened if I had only gone to the first place? After that explanation, they described the materials needed to create the nose I want and the parts I need. The manager came back and talked about the cost. They were kind, but nothing really pulled me in.. It seems better than the first one, but if I keep looking around more, I think I'll feel more clearly that this is the right clinic, so for now I'm holding off..
For now I did place a deposit at the second one, but refunds are possible, so I'll keep looking around some more…

manager - doctor - manager order / The manager didn't seem to have much specialist knowledge The consultation itself was very backed up, but I got an appointment because a canceled slot opened up! The manager's consultation felt like the kind of thing only someone who knows a bit about plastic surgery or is interested in it could talk about.. We talked for about 10 minutes, and it felt like the sort of consultation you could get from hearing about another clinic and searching online? The doctor finished surgery late, and the consultations themselves were delayed, so I had to wait about 20-30 minutes to see the doctor. Anyway, after the first consultation my expectations had dropped a bit, and then the doctor came in. The doctor explained things honestly and in detail, drawing diagrams as they talked. I showed the photos I wanted, and then they explained the materials and the important parts of nasal shape? Just based on the doctor alone, this place was the most appealing out of the three. No pressure to have unnecessary surgery x, no pressure to pay a deposit x However, the price was huge.. I had looked it up beforehand, so I knew it roughly, but I was shocked that there was no discount. Even with a friend's introduction, if the surgery is on a different day, it's -10.. And even with the partially disclosed photos? showing the quoted price, I was still shocked... They said there are no discounts here and explained that the doctor only does noses, but it seemed like it was about 1.8 to 2 million won more expensive than the others.. The price is intense..

Review of Dr. Oh Yeong-min at Clinic ㅂㅇㅂ (photos + CT taken) autologous rib cartilage, donated rib cartilage both possible, sedation Getting a consultation appointment here was hard too, but a slot opened up in the middle so I managed to book one The clinic was pretty clean too (same building as ㄹㅂㄹ) The consultation order was manager-doctor-manager. The manager spoke first and didn't recommend unnecessary procedures. We talked for about 10 minutes, then the doctor came in. The doctor was calm and explained things well too. They asked if I had any more questions, and I could sense confidence in the surgery? I felt like they would take good care of me on their own..? And then the manager came back. Hmm, the manager wasn't the super-friendly type, but they seemed to have a lot of professional knowledge. There was a bit of pressure to book on the same day, and if you book the same day there is a discount! Anyway, since the surgery itself would be done by the doctor, I trusted the doctor the most, so I set a surgery date here and paid the deposit! Oh, and I asked about the dorsal hump that another clinic said was severe, and they said at this level it wouldn't be a problem not to do anything. I have rhinitis, so I'm thinking of getting functional rhinoplasty too

Unexpectedly, the doctor was extremely good at talking and explaining... The consultation order was manager-doctor-manager, and the manager only recommended the parts that were truly necessary, with absolutely no pressure! They seemed to have a lot of specialist knowledge. However, I noticed the manager's nose, and they hadn't had surgery on it..? That felt a little strange.. I wanted to ask why, but The doctor came in, and the doctor had a very direct and funny personality. They explained things so well, even taking photos on a tablet while explaining. But unlike the four places above, they recommended donated rib cartilage instead of autologous rib cartilage, and when I looked at reviews from people who had surgery here, there were a lot of cases using donated rib cartilage. It seemed like most of them used donated rib cartilage, And the estimate was different from the estimates I got at other clinics, including things like dermis grafting, etc. The manager came back and explained the cost. They give quite a lot of discounts and seem willing to give more! It was the only place that didn't even bring up revision surgery and only talked about removing foreign material. There was zero pressure to book, and there was no consultation fee or CT fee, but the consultation was better than at the first place! lololol (that's my honest impression) But the different estimate compared with the others made me hesitate, and in the end I debated until the final round with a pretty standard impression, then booked at another place lol
I couldn't go to ㅁㅌ or ㄹㅁㅌㄷ because it was hard to get consultation appointments, and it was exhausting. Even if I looked around more, the estimates were similar, but since each doctor uses a different method and says different things, it got even more confusing and I kept worrying In the end, I decided on the final clinic and got a surgery date!
