When I was young, I had my first full orthodontic treatment for 3 years, and about 2 years later my teeth shifted back, so I had a second orthodontic treatment again for 2 years. About 10 years later, I have a habit of biting my lip, and because of that habit, my lower teeth became slightly misaligned, so I started partial orthodontic treatment on 8 lower teeth. The director recommended Invisalign because there would also be interproximal reduction, but it would take longer, so I just got braces. Maybe because I had it done at a dental clinic that doesn't attach a wire behind the retainer, why is it that only my teeth don't stay maintained after orthodontic treatment? So this time I checked whether they provide retainers before starting, but do a lot of people get orthodontic retreatment? If you have any tips for maintaining teeth well after orthodontic treatment, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
