The surgery went well, but at first my eye-smile looked so awkward that it was uncomfortable... I asked the doctor to loosen it, but they said it would settle down and told me to wait 6 months, so I just gritted my teeth and held on. Luckily, the awkward part improved a lot.
I was lucky and recovered well, but from the reviews I've heard, there are people whose eye-smile does not recover. If you think your eye-smile is your charm point, I think it's better not to get lower canthoplasty! (honest opinion!)
