Before <before lifting procedure>Before <before lifting procedure>After <after lifting procedure>After <after lifting procedure>After <after lifting procedure>I received a Silhouette lift and filler treatments for the anterior cheeks, lateral cheeks, and nasolabial folds. I had never had a lifting procedure before, and since threads were going to be inserted, it felt unfamiliar and I was very worried that the foreign-body sensation might be severe. But after doing it, it was better than I expected. As I got older, my nasolabial folds became more prominent, and as the deep cheek area sagged, I often felt like my face was sliding downward. I came in thinking of having the procedure done the same day, and they said I had to fast if I wanted sedation anesthesia, so I received the procedure after fasting.
What I liked most was that the director personally designed the treatment plan. I searched around online and went for consultations at three places famous for lifting procedures. At one place, they said I absolutely had to consult with the consultant first, and I could meet the director before surgery only after booking the procedure! When they said that, I was like, what does that even mean? The consultant's detailed consultation was good, but still, from the patient's point of view, I felt a bit uneasy.
At another place, I said I definitely wanted to meet the director before deciding, so they connected me with the director, but it felt a little too brief, so I put it on hold. Still, they honestly told me that combining laser lifting and thread lifting could actually be worse, so the consultation there was really quite good. Finally, at the hospital I went to for my last consultation, the director gave me the longest consultation and picked up on all the areas I was concerned about, so I felt I could trust them and have it done there. I was a little surprised because the cost was different from what I had first expected, but after hearing the explanation, I wanted to try it. They said that if we refined the overall line and added volume to the anterior cheeks and the sunken nasolabial fold area, it would look much better, so I decided to trust the director and get the lifting procedure. It has now been about a month, and as the swelling has gone down, I can feel that my skin has become firmer and more filled in. Honestly, during the first week, there was bruising and swelling, so it was hard to see the proper effect, but around the 2-week mark, as the bruising and swelling went down, I could definitely see that it had improved~ I hope my review helps people who, like me, are concerned about nasolabial folds and a sagging facial line.
