Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

3 and a half years after rhinoplasty with autologous cartilage..

Whew, I had hump nose correction in early 2020. The left photo is before surgery, the second is 2 months post-op, and the third is a fresh photo I just took lol My nose itself was originally very high, so they took cartilage from one ear and made something like a central support? and shaved down the hump. I wanted something natural with fewer side effects rather than looking obviously operated on, so I chose autologous cartilage! If I don't say I had surgery, nobody knows. It's been a long time, so I don't remember the cost or even the director's name, but personally I don't think the director was very kind.

Strangely, the wound near my ear really didn't heal well, and I remember the area where the cartilage was harvested still hurt even until a year had passed. The shape of my nose can look high or low depending on the angle, but compared with the early post-op period, the tip feels slightly blunter and lower..

But I really went through every kind of hardship with rhinoplasty. My ear also bled, and when they removed the prosthetic? thing placed in my ear, it had dried and stuck, so it hurt so much. There was so much bleeding from my nose that I even went to the emergency room at dawn. The bruising on my face lasted almost 2 months, though maybe I just have an unusual constitutionㅜㅜ And this is probably something everyone experiences, but in the early period after surgery, I couldn't breathe at all, so sleeping at night was really hard. I couldn't sleep properly, temporarily lost my sense of smell and taste, so even chocolate milk tasted like water, and I couldn't open my mouth much because I was worried food would touch the gauze, so I could barely eat anything except porridge. Still, it was a big complex for me, so even if I went back to that time I would get rhinoplasty again, but it is a much more dangerous surgery than I expected. I hope everyone thinks it through carefully before doing it.
