2 Months After Nose Surgery

It’s been about 2 months since the surgery, and about 90% of the major swelling has gone down. Right now, because of scar tissue, my nasal tip still feels swollen.

I heard that inflammation occurs most often around 1 to 2 months, and besides, oily skin seems more likely to develop scar tissue than dry skin, so I had to pay more attention to food management. I kept drinking pumpkin juice, and although I could drink alcohol after one month, I held back. Since summer is so hot, I was worried inflammation might occur, so I sometimes did cold compresses too.

There is still a little pain. It especially hurts when I wear glasses. Also, I still feel a pulling sensation between my eyebrows and around the philtrum, so it’s uncomfortable when I laugh broadly or yawn. The surgical scar is getting much better.

Friends around me say that when they see me, I look subtly different. They say the more they look, the prettier it feels, especially from the side, where the nasal tip has lifted naturally.  From the front, I like that my nostril wings look less spread out than before surgery.
