Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Day 33 after complete removal

Hello~ It's already been a month since surgery Unlike all the worries I had before surgery, I'm just living fine with an ordinary nose~ Unless there is a major problem, I'll stop leaving removal reviews after this post~~~ Maybe I'll leave one after a year^^

I had the L-shaped silicone (2.5-3 mm) + nasal tip (ear cartilage) from surgery 15 years ago completely removed, and also had cartilage repositioning to return the cartilage to its original proper position + capsule removal! (Reason for removal: the skin at the nasal tip had become thin) There was no inflammation or contracture at all~

After a month passed, I also started massage Other than being bothered by the pinched-nose feeling after complete removal and uneven nostrils (my nose is one where the nostrils show…), I'm just living okay!

I'm posting this so people who are removing implants after a long time like me can use it as a reference. Because the surgery was done a long time ago and the surgical method wasn't complicated, I don't think the removal was difficult either~ And since I don't remember my original nose, there is nothing to compare it with, so I think that makes it less stressful too. Before removal, I watched YouTube videos saying it would be 1 mm higher than my original nose because of scar tissue and took comfort from that, but looking back, it just goes according to the height of my original nasal bones.ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

People are fickle; before surgery I only hoped it would become a normal nose, but after removal I can't help caring about the shape too ㅎ But it's not that I don't feel a sense of loss after removal… though I do think, if my nose is like this, why did I even get surgery?;; After removal, when meeting people, I was worried they would notice.. As expected, other people had zero interest in my nose ㅎㅎㅎ No one noticed ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

I also think a lot about why I got surgery when having a slightly higher nose doesn't change the face that dramatically.. I learned how happy it is to live with peace of mind ^^;; The swelling is gradually going down so the height of my nose has lowered.. but my sharp nasal bridge has changed into a natural-looking nasal bridge, so I'm satisfied!!

Photos are Before removal / after taking off the splint (4 days after removal) / around 20 days after removal / 33 days after removal (today)

The hospital was one of the top three removal clinics.. I chose this hospital not because I liked it, but because among the three, it bothered me the least~ In my case, the prices at the top three removal hospitals were all similar~ As expected, I won't take hospital inquiries! (Even if you ask in the comments, I won't reply!!) If, like me, you didn't have major manipulation, I recommend consulting several hospitals and going with the place you like! Everyone, have a safe removal^^
