I got 2.5 types of facial contouring? (cheekbones + chin tip) at a large hospital in Gangnam. The reason I chose the hospital was that I checked a lot of things like reviews before surgery, and the results from people who had surgery with the doctor in charge looked good, so I chose it!
After surgery, it was much, much harder than I expected. Since I didn’t do the square jaw, I came home right after surgery, but seriously, I couldn’t open my mouth enough to eat anything, and my throat hurt too.. Anyway, I spent the whole day not being able to eat anything.
Until days 2-3, I swelled up so much. I was swollen so badly that I thought, wow, a person can swell this much.. My lips were also extremely swollen, so even when I drank water, it all dribbled out.. I stayed swollen until day 4, so it was really hard..
From day 5, the swelling gradually went down, so it became somewhat bearable, and on day 7, I had the sideburn stitches removed and came home. (I heard they remove the intraoral stitches at week 2.)
But after facial contouring, they didn’t take a CT scan!! I want to check and see whether the bones were fixed well, so I messaged the consultant asking if they don’t check with CT, and the consultant said they don’t always take a CT after surgery??;; When I said I wanted to check the CT, they said the CT scan fee would be charged separately lol Is this normal??;;
Is it because it’s a large hospital;; everyone, what should I do? Is it wrong to ask for a CT scan after surgery;
