<Day 3 front view><Day 7 front view><Day 7 side view>Hello!
First, sorry for uploading messy-looking photos because I haven't been able to wash properly! Today I'm going to post my 1-week review after nose, eye, and facial lifting surgery.
Honestly, because of the swelling, my nose and overall face became uneven, so I was debating whether to post, but I thought it might still be helpful for people like me whose nose or face became asymmetrical because of swelling, so I'm writing this.
First of all, on the day of surgery, aside from not being able to breathe because of the gauze placed in my nose, I had no pain and slept without any problems.
The problem was days 2 and 3. The clinic said that would be when the swelling peaks, so I took it lightly, but my eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, everything swelled up lol I couldn't check my nose visually because of the splint, but by feel, it was like, wow, this is going to be hard to control.
On days 4, 5, and 6, I consistently did compresses and walked to manage the swelling, and drank water whenever I remembered.
And then, on the long-awaited day 7, after the outer stitches + splint were removed, I finally met my new nose.
Because of the swelling, the left and right sides weren't symmetrical and my face was puffy, so honestly I couldn't tell what had improved and felt discouraged. But Director K.G.H. said that because I did eye surgery and facial lifting together, there was a lot of overall swelling, and that the nose surgery had turned out beautifully, so once the swelling in the nasal bridge and nasal tip goes down, the shape will come out nicely. He said it with confidence and gave my mind a shot of reassurance.
So now I'm continuing to do compresses and go for walks while waiting for the swelling to go down.
