Review of Sliding Genioplasty (Implant Removal) + Fat Grafting + Deep Cheek Fat Removal

<<Left = before, right = after>> A long time ago, because of a retruded chin, I had 6 mm silicone inserted. As time passed, it became crooked and caused bone resorption, and I was told it could also cause nerve damage, so I had revision surgery with sliding genioplasty. Before that, my retruded chin was so severe that even with silicone, it still looked like a retruded chin, so while getting revision surgery I asked if they could advance it more than 6 mm, but everyone said 6 mm was the maximum ㅠㅠ I wanted to do it somewhere that said they could advance it more, but since it was all the same anyway, I decided to do it at the hospital I liked best after considering the hospital facilities, reviews, and consultation with the director. When I said I hoped it would improve even a little compared with before revision surgery, they recommended fat grafting to the chin tip, so while I was at it, I put some in my forehead and other areas too, and decided to remove the deep cheek fat that had been a complex of mine! After surgery, I heard they advanced it by 8 mm!!! Because I had bone surgery plus fat grafting, I swelled so much that I wondered if swelling to this extent was even possible. I was completely swollen like a monster, so until week 1 I had a really hard time emotionally. When I went to the hospital for follow-up and tearfully said I looked so much like a pig, the director comforted me by saying I’d become pretty once the swelling went down.. But really, from after one week, the swelling went down quickly. I went to work after 10 days, and because I was wearing a mask, nobody noticed. When I had silicone in, my lower face looked artificial and the mandibular body volume was very sunken, so it looked strange. Now the mandibular body volume has been filled, and the shape of my chin and mouth looks natural. And before, I used to get a slight double chin, but maybe because the bone came forward, the double chin disappeared too. Since my facial line is more refined, everyone says I got prettier and asks what I did. While recovering, there were moments here and there when I wondered if I had nerve abnormalities, but now that 6 months have passed, I have zero discomfort.
