I had nose surgery 10 years ago, before-before-after-after-after, but because my skin is thin, they couldn’t raise it very much. So I wasn’t that satisfied with the nose surgery, and they also couldn’t correct the part where my nose was crooked, so I started looking for a hospital for revision surgery so I could make my nose a bit higher and correct the deviated nose haha
After only thinking about it for over 5 years, I finally had nose revision surgery this time~ I had deviated nose correction and short nose correction, and autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage were used haha
First of all, I can live my daily life with no issues, to the point that I even forget I had nose revision surgery, and I think it has the natural-glam line I wanted!
At first, I wondered if I should have gone a little higher, but if I had, I think it would have been too high, and it would have looked excessively flashy so that only my nose stood out. So I think the current design is good. I think it’ll be perfect if just a little more swelling goes down from here~
My previously crooked nose and short nose have improved a lot, and because my nose is higher now, my face looks more three-dimensional and smaller, so I like that too haha People around me also saw it and said my features look more defined, that it looks natural, and that it turned out well! They told me they think I made the right choice getting surgery and that my face looks smaller haha
Also, before surgery, one thing I was worried about was that people said if you use autologous costal cartilage, your ribs hurt a lot and it’s hard to sit, so I wondered if it would interfere with work. But for me, my ribs actually didn’t hurt as much as I expected? I guess it really differs from person to person! The autologous costal cartilage area didn’t hurt at all.. Instead, my ear hurt a bit lol (bearable)
Since it was revision surgery, I was really worried it might end up worse than not doing it at all, so when I think about how I put it off for 5 years, I feel a little regretful I also wonder if I delayed the revision surgery for no reason, but still, I’m satisfied with my life now! ^^
I’m doing well while watching the swelling go down day by day haha If you’ve been agonizing over revision surgery a lot like I did, I recommend looking into it actively instead of putting it off for over 5 years like me lol (Of course, individual differences exist; I’m not unconditionally recommending it x)
