I decided that I should get rhinoplasty someday! But I think it took a long time for me to actually go through with it lol A flashy look was absolutely x, it also didn’t suit my face, and I’m naturally very timid, so I was firmly in the “natural-looking only, and avoid silicone if possible” camp! Oh, to describe my nose: upturned nose, almost no nasal tip or columella (so my nostrils showed a lot), sunken nasal bridge between the eyes, crooked nose, short nose, etc. It was a total mess..
I live in another area, so I couldn’t visit a lot of places and only narrowed it down to a few consultations. Director Seo examined me carefully and explained in detail what would be good to do. The consultant in charge was also cheerful and tried to match things as much as possible to the direction I wanted. She said she had rhinoplasty with Director Seo 8 years ago lol She was so bright that I felt like I became brighter too.. So I think that made me trust them more. The consultation was so long ago that I don’t remember well, but the consultation time was longer than I expected Rather than the exact consultation time, maybe the waiting time? I think it was because the director went into surgery and there were many other people besides me. They said a crooked nose is difficult to correct 100%, but they would correct it up to about 70%. As I remember, it went: consultation with the consultant -> CT scan -> waiting for the director -> consultation with the director -> consultation with the consultant. I paid the deposit right away that day, and cancellation was possible until at least 2 weeks before surgery, or maybe 1 week before! If canceled, I remember they deducted 10,000 won for the CT fee and refunded the rest. The best part was that paid AS was available for 1 year! I think that was it. They said any additional areas I wanted done would be done at minimal cost. For indecisive people like me, it was the best.. All the other staff were kind too, and I liked that it didn’t have a factory-like atmosphere! On the day of surgery, I took photos, washed my face, went into the operating room, and lay down. When I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room lolol Since I didn’t have a guardian, I was alone, and my throat was so dry that the only thing I remember is asking for water.. After that, I went to the clinic at one-week intervals to have the stitches removed, get injections, receive swelling laser treatment, and the aftercare was pretty decent too! I had seen some negative comments about the aftercare, so I was worried, but it wasn’t bad enough to worry about. I only didn’t see the director when the outer stitches were removed. After that, when the splint came off, when the stitches inside my nose were removed, and when I had the two-month follow-up, I definitely saw the director! He explained everything I was curious about, and said it had settled really well. It’s no secret that every time I went, my silicone got corrected(?).. They said it couldn’t be helped because my nose was originally crooked. As I wrote above, when taking photos with the rear camera, the crookedness of my nose showed a lot, and they said they would correct about 70%. Since it was originally crooked, it is still a little crooked, but that’s my original nose, so it can’t be helped,,,
3 mm silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage were used! I remember they said I had some mid-bridge height, so they would use silicone that became thinner as it went downward.
It has been almost 5 months, and I’m very satisfied with the nose shape and line People around me really say it turned out so well and ask me to tell them where I got it because it’s pretty..? But as I wrote at the beginning, I’m extremely timid and sensitive, so I think I reacted to every little thing I talked about it during the consultation too. I said I was scared of silicone side effects and asked if they couldn’t do it without silicone. They said it was possible without an implant. But because my nose was short, even if they made the nasal tip as much as possible with cartilage, it might not improve, and the price would be the same. I think I just put in the silicone, thinking my future self would be the one to regret it There’s no inflammation, but would removal be okay.. I just worried about it for months, and this time I finally made up my mind. As the swelling gradually went down, I started to see a little cartilage showing through, and since it was like creating something from nothing, I felt like I could palpate the nasal tip cartilage If this counts as a side effect, then it’s a side effect, right? Because I created something that wasn’t there out of my own greed, I think my skin couldn’t withstand it. So I’ve left a message with the consultant in charge saying I want to remove the silicone! I left the message after clinic hours ended, so I haven’t gotten a reply yet.. But I’m definitely planning to remove it and have the cartilage repositioned! Still, I’m posting this review because I like the overall nose shape and line, so I’ll attach photos!
