I had a nose that looked slightly upturned and showed my nostrils, so I was really stressed about it. Rhinoplasty scared me, and I did have some nasal bridge height already.. so I was wondering what to do. After going to consultations here and there, they recommended a surgery I’d never heard of, alar drooping correction? alar lifting? They said that for people like me whose alar rims droop, creating the look of an upturned nose, correcting the alar drooping is the right way to improve that area. So I went ahead with it!! Honestly, since it wasn’t a full nose surgery, I wasn’t expecting dramatic results, but I feel like the money was worth it.. My family and friends all said I did well getting it done, and complimented me, saying I got prettier in a natural way haha It still hasn’t been that long since I had it done, but every time I saw the swelling go down and it settle over time, I felt pleased. Now it completely feels like my original nose I’m so satisfied haha
