Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

It’s been one month since I had 3 types of facial contouring surgery with Dr. Kwon Jaehyun haha

Before before before after after after after Since high school, I was worried that my face was a bit long and my cheekbones were large. Back then, I only briefly looked at reviews here and there, like just getting a taste of it through apps, and then forgot about it. Then after becoming an adult, I found this community, and after really searching deeply here, I eventually decided to have surgery.

After installing this community app and looking up all kinds of surgery reviews, I put several hospitals on my list, went to consultations in person, and eventually chose a plastic surgery clinic. The biggest reason was that I felt trust when consulting with the doctor, and he understood my needs so well.

Day of surgery Before surgery, I consulted with the doctor once more and carefully finalized the design. Right after the surgery ended, I was in so much pain that I don’t remember it well, but to roughly write it out, first my throat hurt so much and I wanted to drink water. The areas where the facial bones had been shaved hurt too, but my throat hurt the most. I also kept feeling motion sick. And I don’t remember clearly, but roughly 4 to 6 hours later, they gave me water, and when I drank it, I started coughing and felt even more nauseous. It was really hard, but the nurse took such good care of me that I got through it. She was really kind.

Post-op days 1 to 3 My face truly got huge more and more as the days passed. On day 1, the nausea disappeared, but the pain was very severe. My throat was bearable, but my jaw area hurt so badly. I had planned to walk diligently, but I couldn’t even bring myself to do it I had to take medicine, so I ate beef and vegetable porridge from Bonjuk, blended as finely as possible. If you scoop it into a paper cup and drink it like water, it goes down well. On day 2, the pain decreased enough that I could go for a walk. It wasn’t that it didn’t hurt, but it was bearable? But when I slept at night, my face felt so hot. On day 3, it wasn’t very painful, just a little painful? But I struggled because I kept coughing. What I ate was pumpkin porridge and ion drinks.

1 week It swelled a lot until day 3, and from day 4 it felt like it stopped? For pain, my throat hurt a bit and felt uncomfortable. One week after surgery, I had all the stitches removed! What I ate was things like porridge, castella, Mon Cher, and milk hahaha. After eating, I really rinsed my mouth diligently.

2 weeks There is no pain at all now. There was still a lot of swelling. I met a friend, and they said my face looked like it had been hit hahaha. There was a slight yellow bruise around my eyes. Still, I think it was enough to go about daily life if I wore a mask. From this period, I just ate what I wanted, except things that were too spicy, irritating, hard, or tough.

3 weeks As time went on, I could feel the swelling going down. The yellow bruise around my eyes was only visible if you looked closely? I could visibly see that my lower jaw had become shorter. I could also visibly see that my U-shaped jaw had become slimmer!! I think this is when I started feeling the effect of the surgery. I lived while diligently doing warm compresses.

One month!! For me, the biggest difference I felt was when I went from week 3 to one month. Maybe because from week 3 I was working and standing almost all day, the swelling really went down quickly? I can see very clearly that my cheekbones went in, and my jaw also definitely seems shorter. But the square jaw area still seems to have much more swelling left than other areas. As for current discomfort, other than not being able to open my mouth wide, there doesn’t seem to be much else.

At first it was really so hard, but as time went on, I could visibly see the facial swelling going down, so now I’m very happy. But the swelling on both sides is going down at different speeds My cheekbones definitely went in, and my jaw seems slimmer, so I’m really happy. My face that used to look long also seems improved!! If anyone is considering surgery, I hope my post helps.
