Before<Before (side)>Before<Before (front)><Week 2><Week 3><Week 4 front (checking nose spreading when smiling!)>I wrote a post on the clinic-linked review board at week 2, and this time I brought my week 3 and 4 progress too!
The reason I got surgery was that my younger brother had his nose done at the same clinic, and it turned out so well that I got tempted and made a reservation too. So I didn’t really do any online or in-person researchㅜ
**To mention in advance a downside I didn’t feel at week 2... In my early 20s, I once broke my nasal bone while fighting with my younger sibling, so because of that my nasal bone was very deviated to the left. Since the surgery included correcting that, my left nostril has become much narrower than my right nostrilㅜㅜ So when I lie on my side, sometimes it’s hard to breathe through my left nostril.
Other than that, I’m satisfied with everything! Maybe because I’m not particularly sensitive to begin with, I don’t really have much foreign-body sensation or discomfort, and these days I just use nose pore strips freely and do my makeup diligently. A male acquaintance I met after a long time complimented me, saying I became really innocent-looking, and I think it’s probably largely because my nose became more defined, making my mouth look set back. At first, when the swelling was severe, my mom scolded me a lot, saying I shouldn’t have done it, but these days she likes it, saying I look like a celebrity (please excuse her, she’s my momㅎ) and that my face looks so small.
When I first went to the clinic, I said I liked a straight nose and asked them to make it naturally straight, but the director said he would just do it to suit my face... And he persuaded me, saying I’d regret it later if it was too natural. In the end, I’m satisfied ㅎ;;; As expected, an expert’s aesthetic sense is different.
Today my younger brother came home after a long time and we ate together, and his looks so natural you’d believe him even if he said he didn’t have surgery... He says he goes around lying that it’s his own nose. Anyway, I’m happy because my satisfaction compared with the cost is amazing.
P.S... The incision scar on the columella area is still severe... hoxy when does this disappear?
