Before<Before>After<After>I had functional nose surgery at the same time, and I had it done at Byeol Plastic Surgery! Before surgery, I had a hooked nose and an uneven nasal bridge that bothered me, and when I slept lying down, my nasal congestion was severe and I often breathed through my mouth ㅠ.ㅠ When I woke up in the morning my throat hurt, and it was especially worse during seasonal changes, so I wanted to address the functional issues too. I heard that Byeol had a very experienced and well-known director for functional nose surgery, so I had a consultation there and went through with the surgery! No implant; they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage! I also had osteotomy, but I did not have much bruising or swelling~ :)
The photos were from 2 weeks after surgery. Even before removing the tape and stitches, I was already looking forward to the shape, and even then the shape was so prettyㅠㅜㅠㅜ Honestly, I only hoped the shape would be better than before, so I did not know it would turn out this pretty with a straight-to-softly curved lookㅠㅠ I am so satisfied.. A few days ago I also went in for a follow-up with the director, and they separated an adhesion that had formed while the inside of my left nostril was healing! Recovery after surgery was tolerable except for the very beginning, but separating the adhesion hurt a bitㅠㅜ They told me to do nasal irrigation well, so I am going to keep at it..! They check my progress kindly and thoroughly, and functionally, I am now breathing well and sleeping well! I especially love the shape so much~ I have been taking lots of photos :)
