I lost my pre-surgery photos when I changed phones. I’ll attach them later if I find the backup photos.
Writing informally for convenience.
For my first surgery, I got semi-out double eyelids with the buried suture method, and about 5 years later my eyes came undone, so I started looking for a clinic thinking I should get an incisional procedure so they wouldn’t come undone.
I looked into several places, but visited TTㅇ first.
The consultant pressured me about the deposit and said they wouldn’t give me the discount if I didn’t do it now, holding me there and persuading me for almost 30 minutes, so I ended up doing it there.
At first, they said an out-line would be difficult but an in-out line was possible, so I went ahead.
I didn’t want ptosis correction, but they recommended it, so I did it. They said I didn’t need epicanthoplasty, but I wanted it, so I did it.
The surgery method was local anesthesia during 5 minutes of sedation -> then surgery after waking up from the local anesthesia.
I felt nauseous briefly and then woke up, and the surgery proceeded. Since I opened and closed my eyes and talked with them, it was not a proxy surgery.
But my eyes were uneven, so the doctor kept seeming flustered, saying one eye was much smaller than they had expected..ㅠ
It felt like they were laying the groundwork, so I got worried. In the end, it took a long time to work on that smaller eye, and it hurt.. I kept feeling like my eyelid was being pulled.
As the surgery got longer, I don’t know where the towel supporting my head had bunched up, but the back of my head hurt so much that I held it in and held it in until I couldn’t anymore, so I spoke up.
They moved it slightly, but the headache was severe until the end.. My eyes hurt and my head hurt too, so I felt a bit upset..
After the surgery, because of the swelling, I was very satisfied with the line for about 2 weeks.. (There was slight asymmetry, but I thought it would get better once the swelling went down, so I didn’t worry.)
After one month, the swelling suddenly went down, and because of the ptosis correction my eyes looked too wide open, making my impression look fierce.
The line also started coming down a lot, and by around 3 months, the double eyelid had dropped so much that there wasn’t much difference from now.
From the one-month mark, when I looked closely, the line formed much lower than the incisional line when I closed my eyes, and maybe because of that, the surgical scar above it looks unpleasant out of nowhere.
Please judge after looking at the current photos. It feels like there’s no difference from before surgery, so I’m planning to get revision surgery somewhere else.. I’m sad.
