Hi, I’m someone preparing for a second revision rhinoplasty. What I felt while going to nose consultations is that for a second revision surgery, 1) they either leave the septal strut currently in my nose as it is and add more ear cartilage on top of it to lengthen the nasal tip, or 2) they remove that septal strut and reconstruct it (whether with ear cartilage or donated costal cartilage).
If it’s not revision surgery due to contracture, do people usually tend to do option 1?
Since I’m going through a second revision anyway, I want to straighten my crooked columella.. ㅇㅅㅇ For everyone who had a revision/second revision, how was your surgery done?
