I called yesterday and asked if a consultation might be possible tomorrow, and they said it was possible at n o’clock. I called the day before, and since it was the weekend, I thought they’d say no, so I felt relieved. I organized everything overnight, got ready while dragging my sick body along, and was on my way for an hour and a half when they called 30 minutes before the appointment time. They said they called because the surgery was running late and would end two hours later than the originally promised time. This was the first thing that made me angry. I was already on the subway on my way there, and the fact that they called me like this 30 minutes before made me heated. But I also didn’t have any free time, and I thought I could just organize my thoughts for two hours and add a bit more to what I wanted to say, so I said it was okay. When I arrived, they said they had sent me a text to fill out preliminary information, but it was someone else’s name lolololol I said I hadn’t received the text and asked them to send it again, then filled it out The staff member taking photos asked the same things again and again and again When I took off my mask, they openly showed that they were surprised, but up to this point it was bearable Then during the consultation with the consultant, she said the consultation probably couldn’t happen today lolololololololololol Are you kidding me? So I said, you called me 30 minutes before the appointment and already postponed it, and that itself was breaking the appointment, but if this was going to happen, shouldn’t you have said during the phone call that it wouldn’t be possible at all? She said she was so sorry lololololololololololololol Then she told me to wait a moment, left, came back, and said that they originally operate until n o’clock today, but the surgery would go past that time. And after that, the director has a personal appointment, so it’s not possible lolololololololololol Ah, yes, and why is that my problem? lolol I still haven’t even talked to the director, so I don’t know what kind of person they are, but a clinic that breaks time commitments like this, asks if I’m okay waiting, I say yes and go there, and then tells me on the spot that it can’t happen today? Then they said they would change it to another day, and since it was a director I had high expectations for, I just said okay. Am I the pushover here? They said the surgery was delayed because there was a lot of bleeding or because of some other circumstance. Honestly, is that something I can know about? But fine, I can understand that things happen. And it was something I could understand. But then they shouldn’t have asked me if I would wait; at the very least, they should have said it probably wouldn’t be possible And after we talked about the changed date and time, the last thing they said to me was to please tell them in advance if I want to change the time lolololololololololololol If it was going to be like this, I would have booked a consultation at another clinic during this time. They took all my time exactly as they pleased, and I’m seriously angry
Also, what’s really ridiculous is that I had said I was planning to have the consultation today, think it over during the weekend holiday, and if it seemed okay, do it right away on the 26th, but they postponed the consultation to the 26th and then said that if it seemed okay, same-day consultation and same-day surgery would be possible. Does that make any sense?
