I liked Director YJH's YouTube explanation, so I booked a consultation and went in. Honestly, the first consultation ended in less than 5 minutes? so I almost looked into other places, but I still felt the director was neat and would do a really good job, so I booked the surgery. On the day of surgery, I went to the hospital without thinking about anything, changed into the surgical gown, and was lying down before anesthesia when it suddenly felt real. After surgery, maybe because of the anesthesia, I vomited quite a lot (retching). Until about one day? the pain was severe, but after that there was no pain at all. The swelling was definitely worst on day 2. From day 2, I walked 2 to 3 hours a day (split into 1 hour each in the morning, afternoon, and evening). After coming back from a walk and washing up, I did feel like the swelling was going down (it may have been just my imagination). I did not take pumpkin porridge or any swelling- or bruise-reducing medicine at all, and only walked no matter what. From the second month, I think I definitely started to see a difference from my pre-surgery face. The face area itself did not become dramatically smaller, but after surgery, the facial features stand out much more than before, making the face look smaller? I think that effect is very big. From the one-month mark, I started meeting friends and family, but no one asked if I had surgery, and I heard a lot that I had lost a lot of weight. Currently, my mouth opens exactly enough for two fingers, and except for tough meats, I eat everything without being picky.
