LASIK Review for Severe Astigmatism

After getting examined at several places, I was told that SMILE was not possible because of my astigmatism, but LASIK was possible, so I decided on LASIK. Honestly, I was really nervous on the day. I had scared myself because I heard my vision would look blurry, but they told me to look at the green light, so I did. Then there was a slight smell like burning tires, and they said it was done. I really think it was a very short procedure that took less than 15 minutes.

I had LASIK in the morning, and objects looked clear, but phone screens, computers, and things like that were just hard to see and looked hazy. It was to the point that I did not feel stressed at all.

I really feel like I made the right choice because I can live with my eyes open without having to put lenses in my eyes anymore. I still do have some glare/halos, but they said it can last up to 6 months, and since I had severe astigmatism, the doctor said I might have to look at the green light again briefly at some point, so I have been recommending it to everyone around me!
