ㄱㄴ Plastic Surgery Director ㅇㄱㅎ No consultation fee It’s a revision surgery, and he said I need autologous costal cartilage, hump nose correction, osteotomy, and ear cartilage. The director explained things calmly and was good. The consultant wasn’t bad either, but I felt a bit uncomfortable that they recommended doing it during the Chuseok holiday and said they would give a discount if I decided now and paid a deposit. The price was 7.7 million won, but they said if I booked now they could do it for either 6 million or 5.5 million won. Since it was the first hospital I visited and I said I wanted to think about it, they said if I thought it over and contacted them later, this price would absolutely not be possibleㅜ Oh, and they said an anesthesiologist is always on site and that they do general anesthesia safely. They seemed proud of that.
ㅁㅋ Plastic Surgery Director ㅇㅈㅈ Consultation fee 10,000 won When I walked in, the vibe just felt like a dermatology clinic that does procedures. The consultant didn’t feel professional, and it seemed like she didn’t really know much when explaining things. But when she asked if I had been to any other hospitals and I said I had been to ㄱㄴ, from then on she kept asking how they said they do the surgery, talked about prices, asked how much ㄱㄴ quoted, and asked me back about how I had been consulted at the other plastic surgery clinicㅡ The director wasn’t bad, but I had already lost interest. And they said there was a 10,000 won consultation fee haha
But ㄱㄴ said I would need autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage too, while ㅁㅋ said that if they harvest only autologous costal cartilage, ear cartilage isn’t needed. I don’t know which is right. I was surprised because it was much more expensive than I expected. I think donated costal cartilage was roughly 6 million won and autologous costal cartilage was 7 million won. Is this right, everyone~~? For reference, this would be my 3rd surgery. But is it normal for the price to keep going up for the 2nd and then the 3rd surgery?
