I went to a total of 8 plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam & Apgujeong over 3 days, you know? And today, my last consultation was at MT Plastic Surgery. I had watched a lot of videos by Director OHS from MT Clinic on YouTube and read a lot of reviews in a community. Most of the reviews said that he puts safety as the top priority and does not do excessive corrections, so it would be good for people who want a natural-looking surgery! But today, as soon as I went into the consultation room, the director looked at my nose and immediately said, “This can’t be done,” and it was something all 7 other clinics had said was possible. As soon as I heard that, I thought, ah, this is the place ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I do want to have a pretty nose, but I’ve seen a lot of cases where people overcorrected too much out of greed and ended up with side effects, so I had thought I should do it safely within the possible range. In the end, I paid the reservation deposit and left ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It is a bit more expensive than the other clinics. They don’t have review discounts or anything like that here. (That actually makes me trust them more. Unlike other clinics, there’s no room to manipulate reviews by having you send selfies, Photoshopping them at the clinic, and saying, “Please upload this photo~”ㅋㅋㅋ) Among the 8 clinics where I had consultations, they place safety as the highest priority, and during surgery, they keep communicating with the director throughout (they said general anesthesia is risky, so at first they only do general anesthesia for about 5-10 minutes for local anesthesia, and then wake you up afterward), so there’s no reason to suspect proxy surgery either! What I liked most was that before finishing the nose surgery, they said they would let me check the shape of my nose. A guardian can also come in and check it! And they said that if the nose is too high or if there’s anything I don’t like, they would revise it right there on the spot.
But one thing you should know before going is that if you look at consultation reviews, there are comments like “the director is too blunt” or “the consultation time is too short,” and if you haven’t been to many consultations and don’t know much about the terminology or surgery, I think you could definitely feel that way. He doesn’t give a lot of detailed additional explanations ㅠㅠ Since I had already gone to 7 clinics, I already knew what condition my nose was in and what kind of surgery I needed, and I had studied a lot on my own, so I understood the surgical principles and methods, which made the consultation feel smooth without getting stuck. If you’re going to book a consultation at MT Plastic Surgery, I recommend visiting a few other places first and going after you know a bit about the condition of your nose!
And this is a clinic with a director who makes things look natural rather than flashy! I heard a lot of revision cases come here too, and I think it would be good for people like me who want surgery without it looking obvious, like “I got plastic surgery~”
Now that I’ve written it, I sound exactly like a broker.. But as someone who likes things to be meticulous, and as someone who went around to 7 other clinics and had consultations, I honestly wrote this because I thought this place suited me the best and was the best for me. I made a surgery appointment for early September, so I’ll bring a review after I have the surgery ㅋㅋ
