Review After Visiting Clinics for Revision Eye Surgery

After looking at reviews of ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, the double eyelids were totally my style, and the doctor seemed skilled. I had seen it a lot for a long time, so this winter, after the CSAT, I went to get a consultation I had picked out. As soon as I walked in, there were surprisingly many foreigners, and next to me someone was going “sawasdee krub.” The consultant ladies were lined up at the counter like Girls’ Generation and said, “Hello, this is 0000 Plastic Surgery,” so I was kind of like, “Uh...???” and almost felt overwhelmed by the atmosphere. But even though I had made a consultation reservation, they said the director was in the middle of a simple surgery or something, so it would take an hour until the consultation. I didn’t have any other clinic consultations booked afterward and had no plans after that either, so I was like, “Ah... okay,” and took that chart? questionnaire? paper? you know the one, and said I’d just wait while filling it out, then sat down. While waiting, I looked around and there really were a lot of foreigners. Wearing sunglasses and carrying really huge suitcases. I’m not really the type who likes large clinics? factory-style clinics? big clinics? but I went for a consultation because the surgical results were so good, you know?? And maybe about ten minutes later... one of the consultant ladies called me. Everyone knows those places where the consultant does the consultation, right? There were a lot of those rooms too. So I went and had a consultation with the consultant, and she was really kind and listened to everything I said, my situation, and my concerns, so I really liked that. I almost made up my mind? But when I first went around for double eyelid surgery consultations, and even this time when I went around again, I had never once been recommended canthoplasty, and I myself had never thought about it either?? And my eyes are already kind of opened up?? so if they opened them any more, it felt like anyone could see my eyeballs would look like they were spilling out. But she recommended posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, which I had never even thought about in my life. So I was like, “Hmm... what is this??” and said, “I’m not considering that, and I’ve never once been told I needed canthoplasty.” Then she said, “Oh, really?” and told me just to keep it in mind, and I went outside to wait for the director. But right after the consultation with the consultant, they called me to consult with the director. That made me even more like, “Huh....????????!!!! What is this..? You said it would take an hour earlier,,,” So I went in feeling unsure, but his first impression and way of speaking didn’t inspire trust, and the distrust I already had grew a lot... Like the consultant, he looked at my eyes a bit and said it had loosened because it was done with buried sutures, and said it would look pretty if I had an incision method plus posterior and lower canthoplasty, so I just went, “Um... yes,” and came out. Without any reason?? It was just while talking about double eyelid surgery, he said, “It would look pretty if you also did posterior and lower canthoplasty!” so I wondered if they were just adding things on to charge more. And after about five minutes, I came right out. But then they said I had to consult with the consultant again, and that I had to wait. I thought about waiting, but just left without another consultation. So I don’t know the price, and I didn’t even take a business card. When I was just trying to leave, those Girls’ Generation-like consultant ladies said, “Ms. 000, why are you leaving?? Are you leaving without a consultation??” so I said I was busy and had to go. I don’t remember what they said, but anyway I left like that. But when I came out after consulting with the director and waited a little, the director was maybe on his way into the operating room? He kept wandering around without going in anywhere, and I also saw what seemed like one of the beginner consultant ladies among the Girls’ Generation-like consultants getting scolded harshly in a place where everyone could see. Come to think of it, an acquaintance of mine also had a consultation there, and even though she was someone who had also never once been told about canthoplasty, she was recommended posterior and lower canthoplasty too. Hmm.... I do think his skills are really good, but because of the questions that came up that day and the excessive surgery recommendations? I didn’t choose this clinic. But the surgical results are the most my style, though... sigh...^
