Bridge, bulbous nose, hump, osteotomy, columella correction, and functional rhinoplasty, week 2

Before<Before>Before<Before>After<After>After<After>I’m on day 12 after surgery with Dr. Kook Kyung-hoon at Just Plastic Surgery. There is swelling on the bridge and tip of my nose, but for week 2, I don’t think the swelling is very severe. So far I’ve only had the stitches removed from my nose, and I’m planning to go get the stitches behind my ear removed this week. Dr. Kook seemed to come up often in the cafe, so I went for a consultation, and he was really kind and gave me a long consultation, so I had wanted to get rhinoplasty from him for a while. I didn’t have enough money, so recently I persuaded my parents and was able to get the surgery! My bulbous nose was quite severe, I had a hump, and my nasal tip was droopy, so my nose was my biggest complex on my face. I said I wanted a straight-line nose and a nose with a feel like Lee Soo-hyuk’s, and he said that for that, my nose definitely needed osteotomy. I had been thinking about rhinoplasty for a long time, and he seemed like someone I could trust and leave it to, so I proceeded with osteotomy as well and had the bridge, bulbous nose, hump, osteotomy, columella surgery, and functional rhinoplasty all done together. Around 2020, I had rhinitis surgery once, but even after that my nose kept feeling blocked, so I said I wanted to improve that part too. I thought it would hurt a lot after surgery, but it didn’t hurt at all, and the only annoying part was not being able to wash by myself. When washing my hair, I went to a hair salon. On day 7, I had the splint removed, and my nose became higher and slimmer than I expected, so I’m really satisfied. Once the bruising goes down more and the swelling subsides, I think the bridge will look natural too, and my family already says it looks well done and is happy for me, so I feel proud. I’ll post another review after some time passes.
