My nose is on the wide side, but the space between my eyes is also very wide...^^ so I plan to decide on alar base reduction during the consultations. I also have some rhinitis. I have allergic rhinitis too. I spent about a month researching clinics that specialize in rhinoplasty, and I plan to visit 6 clinics this week. I’ll keep adding consultation reviews as I go.

Among these, I narrowed it down to 6 clinics where consultations were available in August + whose review photos matched my taste.
2. In-person consultation list 1) Gangnam Clinic M - Director K The review photos of noses were the most to my taste, and I could book a consultation right away, so I went there first. They recommended nasal bridge + nasal tip (septal cartilage + ear cartilage) + bulbous nose correction + columella + nasolabial angle correction (correction of a drooping nose). They recommended using donated rib cartilage, with an additional separate cost of 1 million won. Both the director and the consultation manager explained things well and gave detailed explanations while drawing diagrams. Because my forehead is sunken, they also recommended forehead fat grafting together. Since it was my first consultation, I was flustered, but they immediately pinpointed and told me what I seemed to want. For alar base reduction, they recommended not doing it because the space between my eyes is wide. They did not particularly recommend rhinitis surgery and said that even if I did it, it probably would not have much effect. Also, private insurance would not apply.
If I did it here, I felt like my nose would really come out beautifully, but even if it would be aesthetically pretty, I had a slight question about whether it would suit me well... And since my rhinitis sometimes gets extremely bad, I wanted to do rhinitis surgery together while getting nose surgery anyway, so it was disappointing that private insurance would not apply.
2) Gangnam Clinic I A place I went to through an acquaintance’s recommendation. Two acquaintances had it done here, and both turned out well. Unlike the first place, they did a 360-degree CT scan, so they looked more overall at my bones and face shape. With the 360-degree CT, the rhinitis was definitely easier to see. They recommended rhinitis surgery and said private insurance coverage could be possible up to 500,000 won. But when it came to the nose surgery itself, I felt strongly that my own taste was reflected a bit less and that they were trying to do it in the director’s existing style. Also, all the surgical review photos had a natural look. I was surprised because even a review where the bridge was raised by 8 mm looked very natural. The biggest advantages of this place were that they do not put cotton packing in, and that they place a silicone model on top of the nose so you can roughly know what you will look like after rhinoplasty!!!! Personally, if an acquaintance of mine were considering rhinoplasty? -> I think I would recommend that they at least go here. And according to my mom, she said it seemed like they do surgery in an elegant, refined way. (Mom’s pick.) If Clinic M felt like “unless there will be a clearly noticeable effect, let’s not touch it,” Clinic I felt like “let’s touch up all the small details and make it natural.” They recommended nose surgery (ear cartilage + septal cartilage) + rhinitis surgery + alar base reduction + forehead fat grafting. Since my septal cartilage is on the short side, they said they could not raise the bridge a lot; they recommended 4 mm for a natural look and 5 mm for a more glamorous look. I tried the model on, and around 4.5 mm-5 mm was exactly what I liked. Unlike other clinics, it was disappointing that the director did not really touch my face or nose and show actions like explaining how it might turn out.
