When I hear, “That’s what doctors who only think about aesthetics do…”

These days I’m going around for nose consultations, and I have protruding mouth + a retruded chin, you know? At 2 of the 3 places I visited yesterday, they said my nasolabial angle is tucked inward? and that if they do a correction procedure, it would improve the appearance of my mouth sticking out. When they pinched it with a cotton swab, there was definitely an effect. So I booked with the place I liked among them, but today I went for a consultation at a place famous for surgery that prioritizes safety, and when I asked about nasolabial angle correction, they flatly said, “That’s what doctors who only think about aesthetic noses do.” I’m not planning to have surgery here though (I like a more dramatic nose, but this place does very natural-looking noses), but among the 4 places I visited, this was the only one that explained surgical side effects and seemed to prioritize safety the most, so now I feel unnecessarily unsettled Oh, and this was also the only place that told me not to do rhinoplasty and forehead fat grafting together. They said if you do them together, there’s a high chance the forehead fat can descend toward the eyes, and surgery for that is difficult and it doesn’t recover 100%. Other places all said it would be good to do them together~ or even told me first to do them together, but since only this place clearly told me it was dangerous, I trusted them more
