Before-before after-after I got under-eye fat repositioning at the end of November!!! I’m now in week 2, so I’ll organize this in order: why I decided to get the surgery, how I looked for a clinic, and how things are now!
Why I decided to get surgery: First of all, because it runs in my family, I’ve had a hollow-looking under-eye area since I was young.. lolol Until recently, I lived without paying much attention to it, but recently when I was out having fun and took photos, I looked so tired and the center of my face looked sunken in? I was wondering what I should do about it, and a friend said it looked that way because the area under my eyes was dark, so I made up my mind to get under-eye fat repositioning surgery!! Thinking about it, the part I always fix when I take selfies is using the dark circle removal feature….
Finding clinic information: Since it was my first plastic surgery, I tried to be thorough and gather as much information as possible. First, I prioritized collecting clinics with a single director who could focus on me and perform the surgery carefully!! While visiting clinics in person, I also had consultations at large hospitals, but I couldn’t completely shake the feeling that they were factory-like.. And for the price, I compared the clinics I had selected and excluded places that were too cheap or too expensive, then looked for a reasonable mid-range price!! Oh, and the kindness of the director, consultant, and staff..!! Since it was my first time getting plastic surgery, I had no sense of it at all and didn’t even know what questions to ask, so when they responded kindly, I felt reassured and was more drawn to them.. haha It was my first time, and I’m normally kind of timid, so if I went somewhere blunt, I just didn’t feel good about it… lolol Scary… So the clinic I eventually chose was a plastic surgery clinic with one director, and during the consultation I liked that the director designed it to suit each person’s face. Even aside from the surgical aspects, they kindly explained all the things people with this kind of protruding under-eye fat need to be careful about! The consultant also seemed to notice that it was my first time and explained things in even more detail.. lolololol But in my case, I had both pigmentation and under-eye fat, so I went into surgery understanding that the pigmentation wouldn’t be completely improved by surgery!! Still, I’m very satisfied now!!!
Right now, it has been over 1 week since surgery and I’m in week 2! The bruise from the local anesthesia that looked dark right after surgery has faded a lot, and around days 3 and 4, I had yellow bruising around my eyes and the surgical area, but that also disappeared quickly after I did warm compresses, so it’s barely visible now. I normally don’t swell much, so I don’t have swelling now either! The doctor said I might feel a foreign-body sensation because of the dissolvable stitches, but I didn’t feel that at all and was fine! If I had to say what was uncomfortable, it was just some eye discharge and a little blood after surgery, and a tight feeling? That’s about it This place does sedation anesthesia, so I just fell asleep and woke up in the recovery room lololololololol It must be my constitution… Even after waking up, it didn’t hurt… Everyone says the area around my eyes looks brighter, so my eyes look clearer and prettier, so I’m thinking I’m really glad I did it haha I can’t wait for the day I can do eye makeup again and go out to have fun!!!
