I think it was my retinal thickness that was thin, so I couldn't get LASIK and went with LASEK. Only on the first day, my eyes stung so much I couldn't open them, but recovery was fast enough that I could return to daily life right the next day. As for dry eyes, if I put in artificial tears frequently, it is not uncomfortable enough to interfere with daily life, so I am strongly recommending LASEK to everyone around me!
