I’ve had incisional double-eyelid surgery twice, but only one side is thin, so I went around for consultations, and everyone told me to revise only the thin side. After online research and in-person visits, I narrowed it down to the two places below.
1. Hospital No. 1

No. 1 recommended the buried suture method, saying since I don’t have much fat on my eyelids and only need the line raised slightly, why put a knife to it again? For No. 2, I asked whether doing another partial incision above the previous incision would create two lines when I close my eyes, and they said they would incise right above the existing line, so it wouldn’t be very noticeable (they said it can’t be completely unnoticeable).
Emotionally, when I went for the consultation, I was drawn to Hospital No. 1, but many friends around me said their buried sutures came undone, so I’m also wondering if I should just do incision, and I’m conflicted
But isn’t 2 million won expensive for revising only one side..? I guess maybe it’s because it’s the third revision.
