Hi! The day has finally come for me to write my nose surgery review...
I had double-jaw surgery 5 years ago, and since 8 years ago I've had eye revision surgery about 3-4 times, and I had little things done here and there, but the one thing I couldn't touch was nose surgery....
Hearing about side effects made me so scared ㅠㅠ
So when I came back to this community and started being active to get information, I saw a popular post here and added that clinic to my consultation list. My criteria for choosing were
- A clinic near Apgujeong that has been operating for over 20 years without changing its name (private clinic)
- They call you in very often for postoperative care. It felt like almost once every day or twoㅋㅋㅋ They checked whether anything was wrong when I went in, and the director personally took care of me + And if needed, they even provide treatment in the morning on days the clinic is closed I even got treated well during the Chuseok holiday!
- Since I had double-jaw surgery, many clinics said I absolutely couldn't use septal cartilage and recommended costal cartilage, but I didn't really want to use costal cartilage... It felt like something I'd want to use as a last resort? But if every clinic had recommended costal cartilage, I would have gone to a clinic that uses costal cartilage. However, when I also had a consultation at a clinic often mentioned in this community for doing natural-looking results well, they said septal cartilage/ear cartilage would be okay! So I thought using septal cartilage + ear cartilage would be fine
- During the consultation, communication was the best and the consultation content really resonated with me..... This is subjective, but at other famous plastic surgery clinics, should I say the consultation scripts all felt kind of similar. I also felt a bit intimidated when talking with the consultant.... I didn't know where to set my selection criteria, but at this clinic, they understood my feelings so well that I thought during the consultation that I wanted to do it here ....ㅋㅋㅠㅠ The idea of minimizing cutting into the face suited me well...!!!
And right after surgery, I barely had swelling/bruising, so I think it was pretty comfortable!
ㅡ I didn't really want my nasal bridge or nasal tip to be extremely high, I just did it hoping it would look prettier than my original nose and that the nasal tip would be a little less blunt, but it turned out prettier than I expected, so I'm completely satisfied,,,,
