My eyesight had been really bad since I was young, so I usually wore contact lenses, and 3 years ago I had LASEK surgery. It’s so, so convenient that I seriously wondered why I only did it now. I was worried because I heard LASEK can make dry eye syndrome worse, but I already had severe dry eyes from wearing contacts and lived with artificial tears. If anything, I think my eyes are less dry now At first, because my eyesight was so bad, the doctor said my corrected vision would probably be around 0.9, but it was corrected to 1.2, and even now, 3 years later, it’s still maintaining well hehe If you’re thinking about LASEK, I recommend getting a good consultation and definitely doing it.
