SMILE LASIK

It has been about 3 years since I had SMILE LASIK. I found the clinic just by continuing to search online, and my vision was -4.50 and -5.00. My astigmatism was also really severe, so I wondered if I would be able to do it, and since I had worn contact lenses since middle school for about 9-10 years, I was worried my corneas might have become thin. Fortunately, my corneal thickness was thick enough that I could even have it done one more time, so I was able to proceed. Before surgery, I did not wear contact lenses for about a week, had the examination, and then had surgery right away. It did not hurt at all. They put in anesthetic drops and told me to wait a few minutes, and then I went into surgery. The surgery took about 5 minutes, and they told me to look at the laser light. I looked at it and traced the circle, and then the director did various things to my eye. Honestly, it was scary, but they reassured me that it was almost over, so I just waited. Then the surgery was over. It really ended so fast that I thought, wow, it finishes this quickly? I was worried because some people said it hurts after surgery, but with my vision all blurry, I managed to transfer on the subway by feel and found my way home fine. Even after getting home, I had no pain. There were so many eye drops that putting them in was annoying, and one of the medications stung a bit, but other than when I put that one in, it was fine. After that, when I went for a vision check, both eyes came out at 1.0, and now my vision goes back and forth between 0.9 and 1.0. My job involves looking at a lot of lights, and except for some glare/halos, I am living very comfortably. I do not regret doing it, and I think I was right to get it done. I remember the price being around 2.3 million won, and the medication cost a bit too, so I think you can expect around 2.5-2.6 million won including medication. Still, for under 3 million won, I’m seeing a new world.
