At Mind, they said they would do septal cartilage, bulbous nose correction, and alar rim lowering. Donated rib cartilage wasn’t certain, and both the consultant and the doctor were so nice.
At Private, they said they would do basic nose, bulbous nose, short nose, and donated costal cartilage. But I said I wanted to use autologous costal cartilage, and they said I’m still young so it’s a bit like that, and if I were their own family they would recommend donated rib cartilage. The doctor was honest and clearly told me what was possible and what wasn’t. They also told me to bring 10 photos when doing my nose, saying that if we look at them we can see what they have in common.
At It Item, I had booked Dr. Baek Joo-myung, but at first I consulted with Dr. Jung Woo-jin, and they said Dr. Baek could also do it, so I had consultations with both doctors. The consultant told me they would do osteotomy, but Dr. Jung Woo-jin said I didn’t need osteotomy, while Dr. Baek Joo-myung said he would do osteotomy. It Item said they would use donated rib cartilage, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage, and they said they would do it as safely as possible.
At AB, I hadn’t chosen a doctor, so I was assigned randomly Still, they did the consultation well. I brought Winter’s nose as a reference, but they said Winter’s nose isn’t a pretty nose, and said I could choose between donated rib cartilage and autologous costal cartilage for the surgery.
At Premier, they said they would use donated rib cartilage and septal cartilage, and they also did the consultation well there.
I had CT scans at Mind, AB, and Premier, and the others explained with drawings. But AB and Premier didn’t give me a business card and didn’t send me a KakaoTalk message either.
Honestly, before going around for consultations, I wanted to do it at AB the most, but since I couldn’t choose the doctor... I probably can’t change it, right
For now, what the hospitals said was all pretty similar. They said that because I have a bulbous nose, short nose, and an upturned nasal tip, it looks like a snub nose.
For materials too, they mentioned ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and donated rib cartilage. I think Mind seems the best. Is it okay??
