Before<surgery before>Before<surgery before><6 months post-op ><6><6>My first surgery was buried-incision double eyelid surgery, and the next one was lateral canthoplasty. I liked it at first, but as time went on, my eyes started to droop and my gaze looked dull, so I looked into revision surgery. There was also some visible asymmetry between my eyes, so I looked into it thinking I would include canthoplasty in the estimate too. In a way, I had already given up on the financial side when I started looking. Rather than saving a little money, my priority was for it to succeed so I wouldn’t need another revision.
When I narrowed down my revision surgery list and went for consultations, every place told me it would be difficult with a non-incisional method. I remember they said it was probably because of the line from my previous surgery ㅠ At the time, I felt a little resistant to an incisional method, but looking back now, I think I made the right decision and did well to listen to the director haha This is the price for incisional ptosis correction plus medial lower canthoplasty. For people like me who feel that the gaze in both eyes is different, or that they seem to have a bit of strabismus, they said ptosis correction is also fine, but in most cases, just doing canthoplasty clearly improves the frontal appearance. Mine was a revision surgery, but I hope everyone else succeeds in one go.
