This time, I was thinking of revision surgery with incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, so I had a consultation at ㄷㄹ Plastic Surgery in Gangnam. After the consultation, I went ahead with incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty (to remove the epicanthal fold and open it just slightly), and entropion surgery. I knew swelling lasts a long time with incisional surgery, so I expected it to last longer than I thought, but maybe because I diligently did cold compresses for all 3 days and because of the swelling injection I got the day after surgery, I think the swelling went down faster than expected. Right after surgery and until the stitches were removed, I didn’t have any discomfort. A few days after the stitches were removed, the inner corner area was very itchy, maybe because scar tissue was about to form, but other than that I don’t think I had any discomfort. It’s still only been one month, so there is still some minor swelling and the epicanthoplasty scar is slightly visible, but I think it will fade over time, and it can be covered with makeup, so I’m satisfied.
