I had revision rhinoplasty about two months ago because my alar cartilage was bent. The materials used were silicone + ear cartilage. I really worked hard on aftercare, and I applied ointment inside my nose for over a month too.
I’ve only just started touching it a bit now… While I was feeling it with my hand, I noticed something bulging out. When I checked, something like white cartilage was sticking out.
It is cartilage, right? This won’t go away on its own, will it… If it were a bit further inside and not visible, I would ignore it, but it’s in a spot where it’s very visible, so I’m really worried.
Has anyone had this kind of experience? I’m planning to go to the hospital on Monday
And if you look at the photo, there’s a yellow protruding area under the cartilage. It’s not something like inflammation, right? I have no pain at all. It looks a bit too yellow to be scar tissue… I’m worried.
