I had fat from my thigh grafted into my forehead, and it has been 2 years. Lumps formed on my upper eyelid area (inside the eyeball area), between the glabella next to the nasal bridge, and beside the outer corner of my eye, and depending on my condition, they become hard or swell and hurt...... At first I thought it was a stye and went to an eye clinic, but they said it didn’t seem like a typical stye and that they would write a referral, so it would be best to get a biopsy at a university hospital. So with a nervous heart, I went to the university hospital, got an MRI, and did all sorts of things. The professor asked me if I had ever had fat grafting before. I said, yes, I had forehead fat grafting 2 years ago, and they said oil components from the fat had flowed down toward the eye area and formed cysts... Because of the location, removal isn’t easy, and prescribed medication only temporarily calms the swelling or pain...... Thinking about living like this for the rest of my life makes me feel suffocated, and I regret it so much. I really don’t think fat grafting is a procedure? to take lightly....... I truly hope you think about it thoroughly before deciding.
