Eyeline (ㅇㅇㄹㅇ) The facilities are shabby, but the director is full of confidence. The type who is full of certainty. It is a one-director clinic, and the director is kind. This is where I found out I had pseudoptosis. But when they tried making a line on me, it just was not pretty.... So I passed. But when I look at the reviews, everyone seems to have done well, so this is a clinic I am torn about. For this place too, I recommend going for a consultation if you know a bit about your own eyes. (I recommend visiting a few places first before going.)
Yellow (ㅇㄹㅇ) I had a consultation with the new director, Dr. Yoon Young-don, and the consultation was genuinely kind and thorough. He seems like the type who does what the patient wants. There was no over-treatment, and for some things he actually told me not to do them.
I know this clinic gets talked about a lot, but I think it is okay to just go for a consultation and come back after figuring out what condition your eyes are in. The consultant had a brisk, straightforward feel.
But among the places I visited, this was the only one that pressured me about a reservation fee. They said not to worry because they refund it right away if you take a photo of the receipt, but.. If you are unsure, I do recommend getting a consultation there. They honestly explain everything. Just do not put down a deposit lol
Gangdong Kkomkkom (ㄲㄲ) They were even advertising at Godeok Station lol It was a one-director clinic, and he seemed like the type who really does not over-treat and only talks about exactly the procedures needed. He recommended the non-incisional buried suture method, so when I brought up partial incision, he seemed not to recommend it much. I know that for men, buried suture double eyelids tend to come undone easily, so I wanted at least a partial incision, but he seemed to prefer the buried suture method because there is less swelling and recovery is faster. But I recommend visiting around for this place too. Just from his facial impression, he looked similar to a director I know, and that director was extremely meticulous lol So I thought, ah, he really does have the meticulous look that matches the clinic name. He is not super friendly, but if you already know your condition to some extent or are debating whether to do something, try going.
