Hello. This Wednesday, I had incisional ptosis correction and double eyelid surgery, and I’m asking because I think I may be having side effects.
From the day of surgery, I had severe eye tightness, and because of the pain and swelling, it was hard even to open and close my eyes.
Starting Friday morning, opening and closing my eyes became relatively easier, but when I look upward or stare straight ahead, I strongly feel as if something is pulling my eyes backward.
And the problem is that since Friday night, I developed tinnitus in my right ear. The issue is that every time I blink, I hear a whooshing wind-like sound.
Has anyone experienced symptoms like this??
Also, the biggest reason I’m writing this post is that about an hour ago, while I was watching YouTube, I suddenly felt pain in my left eye, and it feels like only the left side of the ptosis correction has come loose. I have a very strong foreign-body sensation in my eye, maybe because of the remaining stitches.
Has anyone ever had their ptosis correction come loose midway through recovery??
If this is a side effect, I heard that the golden time to release the eye correction is 2 weeks, so I should probably go to the hospital tomorrow and ask them to loosen it, right??
