Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s been 9 years since my short-nose surgery..

It’s already been nine years. I masked Director Kim ㄱㄹ’s name with consonants because he’s no longer at that hospital. He has since left ㅂㄹㅇ and opened his own clinic. Back then and even now, that hospital is famous for noses. He was the representative director there for nose surgery. His style was a somewhat glamorous straight nose, haha. I went because I wanted an elegant-looking nose.

My nose bridge was high, and my nostril shape and philtrum angle were okay, but my nasal tip was shortㅠㅠ so my nostrils showed a bit. Every hospital I went to said my nose came down well but ended too early, so that was the problem lol I also had a very slight hump, and since my face was asymmetrical overall, my nose was crooked too!

In the end, I had the hump shaved down, the thinnest silicone implant placed over my nasal bridge, and nasal tip extension using septal cartilage. I think he said he would correct the crookedness inside while working on the nasal tip.

After the stitches were removed, I was bothered that the silicone area between my eyebrows seemed a bit shifted to the left, so I mentioned it. He said it was swelling, but it just stayed that way. When you see actress So Yi-hyun on TV, you can see her nasal bridge is crooked, right? It feels a bit like that.. And my nasal tip was extremely hard from right after surgery. Now, nine years laterㅠㅠ maybe because my skin is extremely, extremely thin, my nose is gradually lifting againㅠㅠ I also feel like my skin is getting thinner, and the crookedness has returned to where it was. So I’m planning to go back to the clinic he opened and get a revision consultation! It’s not like I developed inflammation or severe adhesions, and I’ve been satisfied because the shape turned out really pretty, so I don’t think there was a problem with the surgery. I’m blaming myself for not communicating enough at the time because I was very youngㅠㅠ Everyone, please be really picky when you get surgery...!

+ At the time, I signed up for plastic surgery clinic websites, searched through before-and-after photos, looked for pre-op cases similar to mine, and visited a few places where I liked the post-op cases. Back then there was controversy about shadow doctors, so I was scared and avoided huge factory-style large comprehensive plastic surgery clinics. I went to a place that at least looked like it had good facilities and had an anesthesiology specialist on-site. The places I went for consultations were Migo, Brown, Regen??.. and two other famous four-syllable places, but I just can’t remember...
