It's been 1 year and 4 months since my revision rhinoplasty. The photos with the drooped nasal tip (2 photos) are from before surgery~!
When I was a little younger than I am now, I thought my nose was very low, so I had rhinoplasty, but I don't know if it was because the material used was weak.. or because I met an inexperienced doctor, but after some time passed, my nose noticeably sank a lot;; not only the nasal tip, but I could also see the nasal bridge getting lower; so I decided to have revision surgery~!
Still, I guess people only really know after experiencing it themselves... Since I was looking into revision rhinoplasty... I was definitely much stricter than when I looked into my first surgery!! haha
1. The doctor's experience 2. Reviews of the doctor 3. Whether they had performed many male surgeries 4. Whether they use a range of materials from ear cartilage to costal cartilage 5. Most importantly, during consultation, whether they properly understood the nose height and shape I wanted, and confidently consulted with me in a way tailored to me, etc. I think these are the things I looked into haha
Because after going through revision surgery, it can't just become lower again~!
The surgery was performed as an open revision rhinoplasty! I received donated costal cartilage and correction of a deviated nose~
A fair amount of time has passed, so I thought I should check the condition. It definitely hasn't immediately lowered or become deformed like the previous rhinoplasty I had, and it has been holding up well until now haha
