It's only just been a little over a week, so there is still some swelling, but I think the surgery went well? I had seen friends around me struggle after their eyes turned out badly, and I also saw a lot of people here stressing out while looking into revision eye surgery, so even though it was my first double eyelid surgery, I went around for consultations only at places that specialize in eyes!
Among the places I consulted with, I chose ㅋㅅㅌ because there was no overtreatment and they were honest! My eyes aren't small, and I don't think I have epicanthal folds or any blocked areas, but some places still recommended canthoplasty, and some recommended ptosis correction. This place didn't do that, and it felt very honest? They frankly told me exactly only what I needed, but when they set the line or explained what should be done, they were very serious and I felt like they examined me carefully!! The consultant was also kind and warm, so it was actually much more comfortable to talk and ask questions before and after surgery!
They recommended doing only natural adhesion, and it matched my needs well, so I scheduled it and just had the surgeryㅋㅋㅋㅋ Right after surgery, when I looked at my eyes, they felt a bit awkward, but looking only at the line, I definitely thought it had been set well. I recovered a bit and went home, and from then on I started having some pain, so I took Tylenol separately ㅜㅜ The next day the swelling rose right up, and since I still wasn't used to how I looked, I did wonder if it had really gone wellㅋㅋ.. But as I moved around at home, the swelling went down a bit, and after I kept looking in the mirror and comparing with other people's photos right after surgery, I became convinced it turned out wellㅋㅋㅋㅋ Maybe because I did natural adhesion, I have less swelling than other people, but it's still pretty puffy..
I went to the hospital for a follow-up check, and I'm diligently doing warm compresses myselfㅋㅋㅋㅋ After surgery, I bothered the consultant a bit, but the replies were pretty fast, and when I went for the follow-up, she came to see me and checked togetherㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ From what my friends say, there are a lot of places where you don't even see the consultant after surgery, but I feel like this place will take good care of me until the end? My eyes right now are a bit.. embarrassing, so I can't upload photos. Later, when the swelling has settled and everything looks stable, I'll come post a review onceㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
