Review of a revision surgery that caused me a lot of emotional stress (why I don’t recommend over-the-muscle placement, inc…

Before<Before revision surgery.. hahaha>After<Today’s photo, drains still in>After<Today’s photo, drains still in>After<This yogurt the manager says she eats every day.. It was seriously so delicious I keep thinking about it hahaha With warm tea hehe I enjoyed it so much. Maybe that’s why I’m not in pain hehe>After<And this place is famous for seaweed soup. Maybe because they don’t use retort packs, it was so good. All the side dishes were also so, so delicious, and when you see the meals, doesn’t every little thing show care?ㅠㅠ It really felt like being taken care of..>After<After surgery, when I came out, I could drink water. After drinking water, I said I really wanted an ion drink and crackers, and the manager actually brought me Pocari Sweat and crackers... hahahaha Amazing, right>After<When I said I wanted seaweed too, they brought it with my meal ㅜㅜ Pollack roe-flavored seaweed was insanely good… How can they move someone like this...>Hi! hehe Among breast surgery reviews, revision surgery reviews are especially rare... and because I really don’t want anyone else to be left with regrets like me, I’m quickly writing this review hehe If you’re planning breast surgery, or considering revision surgery for reasons like feel and so on, everyone, please read this carefully! I have a lot I want to sayㅠㅠ

Height 170, weight 56, rib cage 75 My frame is not large for my height.

Five years ago, I got breast surgery without knowing anything, thinking it sounded good... The implants didn’t show through the skin like obvious rippling, but when I touched them, I could feel a wrinkly, uneven texture. You know how a whipped-cream piping bag looks wrinkly when you stand it up? Wrinkly? I could feel those kinds of folds when I touched them.. Like there were wrinkles inside my breasts….

The wrinkly feeling when touched, the texture being so bad, different nipple positions, and asymmetrical shape made me think I definitely needed revision surgery. Then one of my friends had breast surgery, so I touched her breasts.. and oh my gosh ………???? I asked if she really had surgery. They were so different.. hahaha

I thought it was strange. Why was I like this? After that, I wasn’t in pain or anything, so I knew something was different, but I didn’t really remember my first surgery well, and honestly I don’t think I checked much back then. I just kept thinking it was a failure. I kept touching my breasts and then my friend’s breasts, and the more I did, the more I wondered, wait, are not all surgically enhanced breasts supposed to feel the same? What is this?? Seriously.. During my first surgery, I only worried about the incision scar ㅜㅜ things like that... I hadn’t thought much about the feel, but this time I felt it painfully....ㅠㅠ

Breasts, everyone... The feel is really… everything.....ㅠㅠㅠ

When I came back to Korea, I had already planned revision surgery, and I went to the hospital where my friend had hers done. (My friend strongly recommended it, but I also liked the explanation itself.) And I met Manager JN (my savior!! hehe)... That’s when I finally learned the truth about breast feel.. When they checked by ultrasound, it turned out my surgery had been done over the muscle;;; Apparently the over-the-muscle method was popular a few years ago, and many people who had surgery then are now getting revisions because of capsular contracture... Statistically, with the over-the-muscle method, the rate of contracture increases a lot after 10 years, but I don’t think I ever heard that at my previous hospital... ㅠㅠㅠ I don’t remember it either, and I guess I listened to the explanation too casually. I regretted it so much and felt like such an idiot...

So this time I had surgery with >>>>dual-plane<<<< placement.

Now I didn’t care at all whether it was an inframammary incision or transaxillary incision… After going through my first surgery, shape and feel were absolutely more important than the incision. For my first surgery I did the armpit incision, but this time they went through the breast fold. I needed to change the breast pocket, and I was diagnosed that if I wanted more improvement in feel and shape, it had to be done through an inframammary incision. They said a case like mine was major reconstruction... heheㅠㅠㅠㅠ But I decided on the inframammary incision right away! After touching my friend’s breasts, I didn’t want to keep living with breasts that felt bad anymore.. hehe

Phew, so I had the revision surgery and was discharged yesterday. I’m resting today and scheduled to revisit the hospital tomorrow. And there were things I really liked about the surgery process, so I’m writing a few lines because I thought it would be good to share.

Extremely personal opinion 1. Even though it was plastic surgery hospitalization after surgery, they checked on me constantly -They came every hour and checked my blood pressure and condition like at a university hospital. Even when I was first waking up from anesthesia, they adjusted the bed and everything so I wouldn’t be cold, and I felt reassured, which was nice. 2. The service was the best!! -I get small procedures done whenever I come to Korea, but I’ve never seen a hospital like this. Plastic surgery clinics usually just give canned porridge and do things roughly.. so I had no expectations, but the inpatient meals really moved me, and when I saw they even prepared dessert..ㅜㅜ I decided I absolutely had to leave a review. Because this place really..ㅠㅠ was moving both medically and service-wise. (So I put more photos at the bottom! Their mindset is seriously so good.. I was completely moved.) 3. You don’t need anything when hospitalized;; -I brought tons of luggage, but everything was really prepared. Especially the manager...ㅠㅠ During the consultation, she listened to my story so sincerely and empathized as if it were her own issue, so I was already very thankful then. I don’t know if it’s because they knew I came from so far away or if this place is originally this good at care, but everything! was prepared. Really everything~~

For everyone who needs hospitalization like me, I really strongly recommend hospitalization!ㅠㅠ

The post-op photos are funny because I still haven’t had the drains removed hehe ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Anyway, right now.. I’m extremely satisfied. Even though it’s only day 1, it’s much, much more natural than before the revision…ㅜㅜ I’ll need to keep watching the progress to know for sure, but they said it ended successfully. I can feel it with my own eyes too: the nipple position! It changed so beautifully. My previous breasts were reallyㅜㅜㅜ ha.. I don’t even want to say more^^.... I should have done it sooner... Maybe I won the pain-free lottery, but it doesn’t hurt at all hahahaha

And I’m also attaching proof photos of the hospital service I mentioned earlier! These are things I was personally so grateful for, so I really wanted to write them down. I took photos throughout hehe because I was showing off to the friend who introduced me to this place hahahaha

Anyway, it was a revision surgery I was very satisfied with. Before the revision, I had severe stress both mentally and physically, but I’m so happy I found a good hospital. If I only say I’m happy, it sounds too much like promotion;;; so I don’t want to, but what can I do when I’m genuinely happy... Everyone suffering from revision surgery, or anyone thinking about breast surgery as their first surgery.. either way is fine. Please, before you get consultations, I hope you read this.. really, really read it.. Breasts are about feel, and the incision is nothing. And please absolutely don’t do over-the-muscle placement ㅜㅜ Do dual-plane.. That’s my wish for you all…

For a first surgery, you might not know. But for revision surgery, we really... need to be careful. And I hope you know that hospitals this kind and moving do exist. Like me, if you choose this place, I’m sure you won’t regret it. I can say this with confidence as someone who experienced it hehe

If you leave a comment about the cost or details, I’ll share! If you’re curious about anything, please leave a comment… (If my limited knowledge can help, I’m happy to share as much as I can hehe)

Lastly, thank you for reading my lacking post~ And I don’t know if this will reach you, but to Manager JN and all the staff, thank you so, so much hehe Thanks to you, I was very well cared for (?) and I’m leaving!!

Have a good year-end, and I hope next year brings great success!
