Hello, I’m a 30-year-old man, and it has been 2 weeks since I had surgery. My nose was originally on the prominent side, so at first I only wanted to have the hump trimmed while getting rhinitis surgery, but they kept recommending that, while addressing the hump, I also try doing a very small amount on the nasal bridge and the nasal tip, so without osteotomy, I ended up somewhat impulsively having the hump shaved, about 1 mm of silicone placed on the bridge, and ear cartilage used to slightly lift the nasal tip. I regret it so much. Even though I haven’t had anything done anywhere else, after doing my nose, my overall face looks like it has that overdone plastic-surgery look, and even my cheeks beside it look saggy.. From the front, my nostrils show way too much, and I can’t put strength into the area under my philtrum, so even when I smile it looks unnatural.. At my 2-week checkup, I told the doctor that I wanted to know if everything could be removed because I look so different and it doesn’t feel like my face, and I asked whether it could be removed, but they said it probably feels even more that way because the swelling has not gone down yet, and that we should watch it a little longer before deciding. They also said they did not do an osteotomy or make any cuts in the bone. My impression has changed so much that I’m extremely stressed. It has been 2 weeks, and I don’t know if I should get removal surgery quickly, or how much it would cost. When I searched, some said it costs less if you have it removed at the hospital where you had it done, while others said you need to look separately for a restoration hospital. I’ve already spent a lot on the surgery, so I’m really worried. I seriously want to go back to the past, knock myself out, and drag myself out of there. For the rhinitis, I can breathe so well that it’s honestly amazing, but ever since my nose shape became like this, I’ve cut off contact with people and just stay shut in at home after work.. If anyone has experience with this, please give me advice. About the cost, and although I know it can’t be perfectly reversed, how much restoration might be possible.. Whether I should go to the original hospital or a restoration hospital.. I don’t even know what AS means, and the hospital never mentioned AS. What bothers me most is the nasal bridge. They said it was about 1 mm, but I can’t even see the other side or something..ㅠㅠ My first surgery was done at Dㅇㅇ. The first three photos are my nose before surgery, and the remaining two are my current condition after surgery.
